Heartwood Properties, a group of construction companies that develop everything from office complexes to sky scrapers, were ready to list their business on the JSE. They briefed Rebels Playground to create a brand that would have the look and feel of a blue chip company, but at the same time set them apart from their competitors. It was important to the directors that the identity was simple, and there was a clear brand look and feel through all of the marketing elements.
In order to create the vision of Heartwood we realised that we needed to carefully craft all elements, this was more than just a logo design. The marketing material had to speak to all of the companies core principles – innovation, solutions and quality. Through the use of the W icon in the logo, the iconography we created to go with it and superior print finishes we were able to bring the new identity to life.
